We are a national collaborative partnership, made up of residents in Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Communities, Consumers, Family Members, Friends, Healthcare Professionals, and Educators who recognize the value of the resident organization, commonly called the Resident Council.

Who We Are

The CoRC Connection

There are over 16,000 Nursing Homes in the United States. More than 24,000 Assisted Living Communities, most are for-profit businesses. Activity department budgets are low, services and programming needs for activities are in high demand. The CoRC wants to get you connected. 

Vision

The CoRC intends to improve the quality of life for residents of Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Communities by providing support to local resident councils and creating enhanced activities, programs, and environments.

Mission

To provide support services to local resident councils to enhance their organizational structure and independence and to promote the training of staff and other care partners.

Here, each of our educators have been selected due to their extensive knowledge and experience within the life enrichment and long-term care industry.

The greatest win I have had was all the information I was able to pass forward to struggling families. Many families have been struggling with the way their loved one acts when they have a dementia diagnosis, and to be able to give them answers is a good feeling. I have learned many ways to be able to redirect residents showing certain behaviors which has also helped family members and staff. I am so grateful I also get to share the knowledge I learned with my peers!
Tim was absolutely amazing! He made the class very easy to follow. I have learned so much. Even my Residents were excited to see what I learned in class.
